• Hello,

I hope you’re all having a wonderful Saturday so far!

Depending on where you find yourself on social media, you might have seen a fair number of posts making the rounds about Bill C-15 this week!

For any of our listeners outside of Canada, or those who simply may not know, C-15 in a broad sense has to do with budget implementation. Of course, this is important, but that being said, it’s not quite the piece that has caught our attention and that of many others.

The bill also contains a clause that would repeal a provision that has allowed free matter, (here referring to braille books, tapes, CDs, braille paper and other accessible materials), to be mailed free of charge for the use of those who are blind or visually impaired, or those with other print-disabilities. This provision has helped create access to education, employment and community life for many decades.

We have decided to cover this topic across all of the shows within the Moosa Slobodian network. For instance, Ali and I will be discussing it on the episode of The Ali and Macara Show that will air on the day of this posting, Dec 13, 2025.

There will also be a bonus Books Panel, which will be live on Tuesday, Dec 16, at 7:30 PM Eastern, where we will have a roundtable discussion about C-15 with the panelists. As for The Ali Moosa Show, we will provide more information about the discussion of the Bill on the show soon.

We feel that this issue is an important one, and we hope that you will tune in for these conversations.

Thank you for reading and for listening to the shows!

  • Good Morning Moosa Slobodian Network Friends,

I hope this newsletter finds you having an nice Tuesday so far, and that your Monday was good too!

It is hard to believe we are in December!

We have been working on these transitions for the past couple of months and the rebrand is official!

To accomplish the main part of the branding, we have launched a new website which we are referring to as the Hub site.

    Here is the back story.

Since September, the on air brand and line has been “Part Of The Broadcast Map Network.” But it was only an air branding.

However, It was important it be more than just an onair line.

This new Hub site takes care of it.

This site will feature links and descriptions for all three shows.

It may also feature some highlights of the week that was on the network.

This is an exciting break through!

Subscribe to all of the newsletters accross the various websites part of this network including this one.

There will be some surprises for you, and stay tuned to our Social Media channels too.
